| IT WAS a great day at St Julian’s, in the suburbs of Newport. The Bishop of Monmouth, the Rt Revd Dominic Walker OGS, came to confirm Ben (above, centre), who is a server, and Rachel and Rebecca (in white), who are members of the choir.
After the confirmation the Vicar, the Revd Roger Williams, introduced to the Bishop four older members of the congregation (left to right), Pam Grace, May Day, Brenda Morgan, and Phyl Jahn, who are all celebrating their 90th birthdays this year. They were thrilled when the Bishop presented each one of them with a basket of flowers.
